Fusako Skelton,  former professional Prima Ballerina is running adult ballet classes that are fit for everyone!

Class is at the Robina Community Centre in the specialised ballet studio 1.1  



Ballet Basic - Start 11am finish 12:15pm
Ballet Intermediate Start 12:15pm finish 1:30pm


Ballet Basic - Start 7pm finish 8:15pm


Ballet Basic - Start 10am finish 11:15am

Cost: $15.00 (Cash only)

Instructor: Fusako
Began her classical ballet training in Japan.
At the age of 16 she was accepted to The Bolshoi Ballet Acadamey (МГАХ) in Moscow Russia. Graduating with a diploma of dance and achieving the highest possible rating of 5 star excellence.
Fusako started her professional career with K-Ballet company in Tokyo, Japan. Fusako quickly gained the opportunity to perform soloist roles in ballets such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Coppelia and Don Quixote to name just a few. During her time dancing in Europe 
Fusako was invited to perfrom as the Prima Ballerina in London with the Vienna Festival Ballet company in their production of Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty.

Fusako started guest teaching for ballet schools throughout Japan from 2006.
Fusako moved to Australia with her husband David Skelton, a fellow professional ballet dancer, to begin instructing in Perth. Teaching classical ballet to students from age 3 to 80!
After teaching in Perth and Canberra Fusako and David moved to their new home on the Gold Coast. Fusako is very excited to have started her very own ballet classes here in Robina especially for adults.
While living for a short period in Canberra,
Fusako choreographed a number of Ballets for the National Capital Ballet School and often returns to Canberra as a guest teacher for the Canberra Dance Theatre. She also regularly returns to Japan to teach Ballet master classes.
Fusako has over 10 years experience in teaching ballet and dance internationally. She has always specialised in private coaching, helping some of tomorrows future stars achieve great results in exams and competitions.
Fusako also has extensive experience in teaching volunteer dance classes for people with Parkinsons disease.
